Customers complete the check on a phone or computer. You receive the result, while their personal details stay private.

  1. Photograph their ID

    Your customer photographs or uploads their passport, driving licence or national ID card, using a phone or computer.

  2. Or a quick face scan

    Prefer no ID? Offer a face scan that estimates age from one live photo, with a safety margin you choose. Customers on a computer can scan a QR code and carry on from their phone.

  3. Get a clear result

    Carded assesses the document and age, then returns a clear pass or fail to your website.

See whether a customer passed, why a check failed and when it happened. Their ID photos, name and date of birth are not shared with your business.

  • ID photos are checked, not savedID images are processed in memory and never added to Carded's database or storage. Face scan photos are shared with your website and deleted after 24 hours.
